2012 Championship Dates

Next years championships will be back in Ingolstad in Germany again, there is no denying the Germany always run a great championships and next year we will see what it is like to compete as an A Pool team. The dates are the earlist they have been starting on the 1st of June till the 7th

Training starts again for next years championships in October.

IIHF creates Inline Task Force

At the world championships IIHF's Rob Van Rijswijk set up a task force to look into all matters IIHF inline. Great Britain team manager Rene Ross along with USA Hockey's Dan Brennan, Czech Republic's Thomas Kazlepka and Belen Urbaneja of Argentina will make up the team,they will be asked to look at a variety of different issues to do with the sport, to make sure the governing body gets a balanced view, with new ideas coming from around the globe.

2011 WC Honours two GB Players

Great Britain players James Tanner (Netminder) and John Dolan (Forward) were voted the best division 1 players for their postion by the IIHF directorate, this is a great honour but not a suprise James Tanners save percentage was 91.30% with a goals against average of 2 per game. John Dolan's award is no surprise either he entered this championship with a GB record of 114 points and during the championship he added another 18 points scoring 11 goals and 7 assists.

James Tanner was also awarded his team most valubale player of the championships.
