GB Team Announced
The final squad that will represent Great Britain in the upcoming IIHF world championships has been selected.
This year's team includes 11 of last years with the rest of the team representing team GB at some point during there career
The full squad is:
Netminders - Alex Birch , James Tanner
Defence- Richard Walsh, Dan Clarkson, Mark Hallam, Scott Glover
Forwards - Nathan Finney, Phil Hamer, Rob Shelton
Karl Niamatali, Alex Pearman, Jack Clarkson
Daniel Hutchison , Kurt Waller, Matt Viney
2013 European Qualifier Sofia Bulgaria
America's Qualifier Argentina Bulgaria won a tight game against Lativa to win the european qualifier which means they will play in GB's preliminary group a further qualifier will come for another tournament to be played in December. The Div 1 playing groups are.
Argentina won there qualification head to head game against Brazil will be the qualifier in group D
Group C: Great Britain (9), Croatia (12), Australia (13), Bulgaria (16).
Group D: Hungary (10), Austria (11), Japan (14) Argentina (15)
